The MAC team is just that: a team. Each of us contributes individual skills, but we also deploy a collective approach to problem-solving. When a customer engages with MAC, there may be only one or two of us at a given meeting, but in a very real sense we are all sitting round the board-room table…
| Tom spent many years at the BBC, culminating in a role as Head of Production for TV News and Current Affairs with responsibility for the production department and programme production quality throughout News and Current Affairs. He has also directed many well known programmes such as Tomorrow’s World, Breakfast Time, Newsnight, Panorama and the Money Programme.
Following his 21 years at the BBC, Tom held main board positions with Autocue Ltd, as Executive Vice President & Director of Product management, and Omnibus Systems Ltd as Operations Director. Tom has also held non-executive directorships with Prime TV International, a company specialising in the supply of field facilities, staff and programme content to television productions, and with Platform PR, a market communications and PR company with clients from the telecommunication and media infrastructure sectors. |

| Neil is a Chartered Accountant with a background in asset and corporate finance. He was a founder and CFO of Suffolk Street Group PLC, where he specialised in debt portfolio acquisition, finance and administration. He was also a Director of all its subsidiaries. As part of his duties, Neil was responsible for the assessment, and due diligence of proposed acquisitions, including liaison with investors, fund managers and lawyers.
Neil is also experienced in the preparation of accounting and forecast information for proposed IPO’s, Group VAT and Corporation Tax, and statutory reporting and licensing requirements. Whilst operating as an independent financial consultant, concentrating mainly on business rescue, Neil has provided general accounting, financial, investment and business advice to small companies. More recently, Neil has acted as a consultant to several other asset finance companies. His broad range of experience includes the property, construction and leisure industries. |

| Ted was Director of Technology at Independent Television News Ltd (ITN) in London where over 29 years he held numerous engineering, operational and management positions giving him an enormously broad experience across the whole broadcasting spectrum. Key positions held were Head of Engineering Maintenance, Deputy Head of Production, and Chief Engineer, when he led the team which designed and installed ITN’s revolutionary studio centre in central London. Ted became well known as a technical innovator within the broader European industry and regularly contributed and chaired technical sessions at various international events. In 2001 Ted was head-hunted to be Managing Director of Panasonic Broadcast’s pan-European broadcast sales, service and marketing organisation. Currently Ted is President of BKSTS – The Moving Image Society, and a member of the Royal Television Society Technical Committee. | |
| Jeremy is an experienced broadcast professional, specializing in the specification and design of file-based broadcast operations, with special focus upon workflow management, content tracking, and business process improvement. Jeremy was a founder and Managing Director of Omnibus Systems, the leading broadcast automation provider. During his 10 year tenure at Omnibus, he oversaw the growth of the company from 4 individuals to over 130.
He was responsible for the acquisition of a manufacturing subsidiary, and for founding and running Omnibus’ US subsidiary Omnibus Systems Inc., of which he was President. He has also held main board marketing directorships and senior management posts within divisions of Carlton Communications, Avesco PLC and Blue Order GmbH. Jeremy has had numerous papers published in media industry journals, and is a regular contributor to international conferences within Europe, USA, the Middle East and Asia. |

| Graham has a broad management skill set, with experience of sales, particularly solution selling, marketing, finance, services, product development, and general management.
He was most recently Executive Vice President and General Manager of Avid’s Video division; a $470m business with 1500 staff. Prior to that he held executive management positions with Post Impressions; Discreet Logic, where he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing; and Dynatech. He has significant experience of managing change and project management and created a consulting and system integration group within Avid which grew to be one of the biggest Broadcast solutions providers in Europe. Equally at home in a start-up or large business modes, Graham has a proven track record of building and changing cultures, acquiring and integrating businesses, building shareholder value and managing to a P+L, as well as an extensive knowledge of international business and cultures gained through living and working in Asia, Europe, Canada and the US. |

| Michael advises on Media, Strategy, Policy and Broadcast Digital Technologies, and is President of Canadian Digital Television (CDTV)
Michael served in a number of senior positions at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) including; Deputy Head of Radio Current Affairs, Director of Radio and Senior Vice-President Media – responsible for all French and English TV and Radio services. Michael was named Vice President and Senior Advisor to the President and CEO of the CBC, in November 1995. Michael was President of CDTV from 1998 to 2007, a Canadian industry association mandated to guide the transition from analogue to digital high definition television. Michael is also former Secretary General of the North America Broadcasters Association (NABA) where he represented the interests of North American Broadcasters to international forums and institutions from 2001 to 2005, and has also been a member of the European Broadcasting Union Program Council. |

Adrian Scott studied journalism as a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina, and started his broadcast career as a radio producer and presenter. He first encountered new technology in the newsroom when a member of the launch team at TV-am, an early user of the BASYS newsroom system. When ITN bought the system and subsequently acquired the BASYS company, Adrian became its Head of Sales and Marketing. BASYS was eventually sold to Avid Technology where it became iNews and Adrian became VP of EMEA Marketing.
After a spell as Director of Marketing at Autocue, Adrian founded the Bakewell House Consultancy and developed an extensive consulting practice serving both broadcasters and manufacturers, specializing in business transformation, market research and communications, and Media Asset Management. He has held senior interim management positions at Pro-Bel and Vitec, and is a well-known commentator and frequent conference panellist and speaker on industry affairs. He became a Director of MAC in 2010. |
